Stories of Our Silk: Colours Of Our Land

Stories Of Our Silk: Colours Of Our Land is an immersive mixed media installation film made as a collaboration between senior textile artists Bernadette Watt and Annabell Amagula from Anindilyakwa Arts in Groote Eylandt, East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory and video artist and filmmaker Naina Sen. 

The film was originally projected on traditionally bush dyed silk created by senior textile artists from Anindilyakwa Arts and was nominated for the NATSIAA (National Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Art Award) New Media Award in 2018.
